The Ontario Food Industry Environmental Coalition (OFIEC) is an organized group of industry representatives of the Ontario food and beverage processing and input supply sectors. OFIEC is administered by the Alliance of Ontario Food Processors (AOFP). OFIEC was formed under the Government of Canada, provincial and territorial governments’ Growing Forward Environmental Stewardship Project, as a “one window” access point between government and Ontario’s food industry.
This assessment tool is designed to help food and beverage processing and input supply companies assess their compliance to Ontario environmental regulations and legislation, and receive a report to address any gaps.
